Better together
Do you want your property or neighborhood to be more than just a place where people live next to each other?

At Deheim, we work with real estate businesses, municipalities, and motivated neighbours to create vibrant, connected, and sustainable living environments. Our mission is to transform residential properties and neighbourhoods into thriving communities where tenants and residents know, appreciate, and support each other—driving tenant retention, enhancing property value, and creating meaningful experiences for all.

At Deheim, we facilitate sustainable, citizen-driven real estate and neighborhood development. By fostering self-sustaining communities through co-creation, we enhance the quality of life for tenants, promote resource sharing, and ensure people can always find a sense of home, regardless of where they move to.
We specialize in designing and facilitating community-building initiatives that bring people together. Whether through collaborative events, shared spaces, or sustainable practices, we empower property managers, local governments, and communities to foster connection, ensuring long-term engagement and self-sustaining communities.
Our Mission in the words of our founder
WHAT? WHY? HOW?
WHAT
At Deheim, we believe a true home—what we call “Deheim” in Swiss-German—is more than just a physical space. It’s a community where people feel connected and engaged. We offer services that help individuals, companies, and municipalities create vibrant, self-sustaining communities. Our approach focuses on building social bonds, fostering shared spaces, and supporting sustainable living environments that enhance well-being and increase property value. Rather than organizing top-down events, we give communities the tools to create their own traditions and take ownership of their shared spaces. From setting up the first community garden to connecting neighborhoods with local farmers, we ensure residents actively participate, fostering a deep sense of belonging and mutual investment. At Deheim, we create communities where people, businesses, and the environment thrive together, promoting social connection, economic sustainability, and environmental well-being.
WHY
The single most important indicator for happiness is the quality of our social connections. Historically, humans thrived on collaboration and communal living, as it is the safest and most resource efficient way to live. Ever since the industrial revolution, this dynamic has changed.
In the developed world, it became the norm to move to large, impersonal cities and apartment buildings and change locations every few years. Therefore, it has become increasingly difficult to upkeep a strong social circle around oneself, which has led to rising rates of loneliness, overconsumption and inefficient resource usage due to a lack of sharing. Hence, we have made it our mission to use the benefits of communal living to create value through social connections, as well as facilitate the sharing of resources to promote a better and more sustainable lifestyle in the developed world. When you share, you can have more for less.
HOW
At Deheim, we believe the only way to create a truly self-sustaining community is by letting it create itself. Our approach centers on empowering the people living in these communities—by encouraging them to invest their own time, money, and energy into the process. This active involvement gives residents a sense of fulfillment and belonging, as they shape their shared environment. Through our services and the survey on this website, we gather essential data about where and with whom you want to live, and how much you’d like to share. Using AI-driven insights, we can connect like-minded individuals and facilitate the creation of thriving communities. By guiding residents in co-creating their community vision, helping real estate companies select compatible tenants, organizing key events, and offering occasional external support to resolve conflicts, we help ensure that these communities remain strong and self-sustaining long after our involvement. This approach not only benefits the residents but also makes the communities more attractive to real estate companies, as they foster tenant retention, boost property value, and require less external management in the long run.
